Our Kiddos

“Hannah Banana”
Hannah was born in 2006 and is in 5th grade. According to her she likes soccer, school, playing outside, and making rubber band bracelets and loves reading and crafts. Hannah is a wonderful little pianist. She is a great big sister (she likes to play mom to her little brothers) and a terrific helper. She is a good friend to mom and others. She is tender hearted and like to leave little notes for family members. She is very smart. She’s always been right on track or ahead of most of the kids her age. (I was just looking back on some journaling. At age 2, she already knew and the letters/sounds and at least 10 sight words!) School and reading have come easily to her. (Though in 5th we are already starting the stressing over tests and lots of homework!) Hannah is our doddler. It takes her forever to get her chores done. She is kind and has a strong desire to choose the right. She has a handful of really good friends. She is really a no-drama girl, which we so appreciate! She is the neighborhood big sister. Girls two to four years younger than her are always asking her to play and Hannah happily invites them in.

“Bry Guy”
Bryson was born in 2008 and is in 2nd grade. According to him he likes basketball, football, legos, playing with friends, doing flips, and animals. He is also learning the piano. Bryson is always trying to be “cool” and funny. His hair and clothes are important to him. He is a crazy little guy. He likes extreme things like to jumping off, over, around whatever he can. He always wants to try new tricks on the trampoline or his bike. He plays well with kids of all ages. He is a wonderful big brother to Easton, who he lets tag along almost everywhere he goes. He makes friends easily and quickly. He gets things done very quickly when he puts his mind to it. Bry is our messy kid. We are still trying to teach him how to use a fork and napkin! He still loves a good snuggle with Mom and Dad which we both love.

“E-Man”
Easton was born in 2011 is in preschool. According to him he likes swimming, soccer, baseball, friends, doing front flips, jumping on the trampoline, Paw Patrol and Beanie Boos. Easton is getting to be our little gymnast. He is fairly athletic and just starting to try out some different sports, which he has enjoyed. He loves “cool” clothes too, which means cozy, athletic shorts, neon and long socks. He wants to do everything Bryson is doing. But is also an excellent big brother to Kade. When the bigger two kids are gone, Easton and Kade can play together happily for hours. He is our sensitive, tender hearted kid. He loves being sung to at night and having Mom or Dad sit on his bed next to him to tuck him in. He has had a few articulation delays. I’ve been impressed by how hard he will work on his sounds. He loves laughing, sometimes its hard to tell if he laughing for real or just messing with us.

“Kaders”
Kade was born in 2013. According to him he likes playing with stuffed animals and tractors, Paw Patrol, doing somersaults, and playing with "my Dad and sister, my brothers and mom.”. He is usually pretty easy going and happy (his smile is radiant), but can throw a tantrum with the best of them. He keeps us on our toes. He always wants something in his mouth. (He's always hungry...we promise that we feed him!) He is cute and silly. He makes us all smile and giggle daily from his funny, deliberate expressions and poses. Kaders, as we call him, loves working with Daddy. He really will stay outside beside Nic for hours helping dig, move rocks, wheelbarrow, or sit in “his tractor.” He constantly expresses his love, “Mommy my love you so much!” It melts our hearts each time. He loves playing with his siblings (or parents) and is constantly asking one of us to play. Easton is his best buddy and Kade sure misses him when he's not around. About an hour into Easton's 2 hour preschool, Kade grabbed my hand, "Come on. Let's go Get Easton!"
